Do you want to succeed in life?
If the answer is yes, then how are you going to do it?
I have personally found that confidence and self-belief are an absolute must! If you don't believe in yourself, then how is anyone else supposed to believe in you? This especially applies if you want to become financially independent - at the end of the day you will have to convince people to buy your products and services in order to make money - your financial independence is therefore financially dependent on others!
But how do we go about this whole confidence business? And where does confidence really come from? Also, is there anything we can do if we don't feel that confident? Maybe there is!
Listen to this:
Confidence is not a superficial thing. Growing your confidence is a process that has to evolve organically. Confidence cannot be fixed with a pretty dress or a ton of make-up.
True confidence comes from within, it is an extension of your spirit and your soul. But what do you do to feed and nurture it?
If the answer is nothing, why don't you take some action and start a journal of success?
A journal of success includes jotting down all the little and big things that you have achieved during a day. Anything is possible, for example "I put a smile on a strangers face", "I went for a 10 mile run even though I felt tired", or "I resisted spending money on another pair of shoes that I really do not need and put the money into my savings account instead."
Read everything you have written down each night before you go to bed, as this will help your brain to focus on all the positive things that you have achieved during the day. By doing this, you are also acknowledging yourself. It is refreshing and uplifting to focus on your good points! And it will lead you down a better avenue of thought - guaranteed!
Try it - give yourself credit once in a while - celebrate your successes - you deserve it!

I think you are absolutely correct in surrounding yourself with positive people.
When you do this, I have found, that it is a mutual exchange of positive vibes flowing between you. Time also seems to go by very quickly.
This is because you are enjoying the company of the other person you are with and encouraging one another as well as engaging in inspiring conversation.
What do others think?
