I Am The Queen Of MySpace !
After receiving an Email from wealth coach Nicola Cairncross from The MoneyGym which was explaining all the " ins and outs " of a new internet marketing strategy called Web 2.0 , I simply needed to take action and give the whole thing a go !!
After all , what did I have to lose ?
After experimenting with setting up a profile on Ecademy and making silly lists on 43things.com , I finally proceeded to the real thing - also known as MySpace.
As I found out from Nicola's Email , MySpace has got over 100 Million online users, with another million joining every week.
A great online community or what ?
I thought to myself : " if I could only reach a small percentage of that community and advertise my products and services to them for FREE, then how marvelous would that be ? "
Needless to say...it didn't take me very long to grasp the potential benefits of joining the site - so off I went in order to create my new and basic MySpace profile.
"Hmmm....." I thought , "not bad."
But hey - being me I wanted more - and I wanted it fast !
So what did I do ?
I did some research.
And then I nicely pimped my profile.
Excuse me Vanessa, YOU DID WHAT ??
You worked as a pimp ?
Noooo - of course not - it's all internet marketing jargon.
Let me explain :
" Pimping your profile " stands for making your profile look truly unique , different and cool.
And why would you want to do that ?
Can you not leave that whole palaver to the Hollywood lot ?
No.
You'd want to do it because :
a) it's fun, and
b ) it helps you to to stand out from the crowd !
The latter will obviously assist you in attracting plenty of attention - and traffic - to your site , which is what you want.
So what exactly did I do ?
I created the profile of Vanessa The Queen Of Words , who , just as myself, is of course truly amazing !
Within days , I have made the most amazing contacts , and I now personally communicate with people of whom I had never dreamt that one day they would be my friends !
Needless to say - I am having tons of fun and am growing an amazing network !
