I Am The Queen Of MySpace !

After receiving an Email from wealth coach Nicola Cairncross from The MoneyGym which was explaining all the " ins and outs " of a new internet marketing strategy called Web 2.0 , I simply needed to take action and give the whole thing a go !!

After all , what did I have to lose ?

After experimenting with setting up a profile on Ecademy and making silly lists on 43things.com , I finally proceeded to the real thing - also known as MySpace.

As I found out from Nicola's Email , MySpace has got over 100 Million online users, with another million joining every week.

A great online community or what ?

I thought to myself  : " if I could only reach a small percentage of that community and advertise my products and services to them for FREE, then how marvelous would that be ? "

Needless to say...it didn't take me very long to grasp the potential benefits of joining the site - so off I went  in order to create my new and basic MySpace profile.

"Hmmm....." I thought , "not bad."

But hey - being me I wanted more - and I wanted it fast !

So what did I do ?

I did some research.

And then I nicely pimped my profile.

After having spent the weekend at Eric's "One Life" workshop, I feel inspired to talk about a subject which has been on my mind for a while.....

The subject of "the power of your word."

Is your word at all powerful ?

Do you ever listen to yourself talking ?

If not, then I suggest that you do !

Let me ask you a question: has anyone ever said anything really nasty to you, and as a result you felt rotten for days or even weeks on end ? Why was that ? Isn't there a saying which claims that "sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me ?"

Well, there is - but it's nonsense.

In his book "The Four Agreements" - which by the way I thoroughly recommend - author Don Miguel Ruiz dedicates a whole section to the power, magic and importance of your word.

Getting It All Done

Have you been good and setting your goals for 2007 ?

Being a coach and having embarked on various goal setting methods in the past, I decided to try a new one this year.

On recommendation of various friends I bought Jenny Ditzler's "Your Best Year Yet."

Here is what I found...

What are my goals for each role ?

What are my top ten goals for next year ?

How can I make sure I achieve my top ten goals ?

Hmmm...interesting stuff...

Being me, I went through all the exercises and then did a fair bit of contemplation...
