I've been what ???

I just received a message from Philly Richards saying "You have been tagged."

Hmmm... tagged...what did this mean ?

After reading a bit further, I understood that there is  a new game out there , called "blog tag" - which involves spilling the beans - in other words, I have to tell you 5 little known facts about myself !

Ok - here we go :

1) Unlike everyone else who has participated so far , I won't bore you with the facts of when, where and why I was born. Instead , I will just reveal that I was indeed born - within less than an hour. That's what I call German efficiency in it's purest form!

2) I once cooked a man a truly bizarre meal just to have a laugh and test his reaction - carrots on toast with a strawberry milkshake. I told him that it was an Eastern European speciality and that I had learned the recipe from my grandfather. Unfortunately he was really polite and almost proceeded to eat it. Haha...I had hoped for a couple of good jokes there...but no. The poor man should have known me better :-)

After all, most people tend to work so hard and take everything so seriously !

Let me explain.

My friend Alice and I recently decided to go out for a day of girly shopping - after having had a close look at her wardrobe I decided that she dressed like an 18th Century nun and that action had to be taken now -as desperate times tend to call for desperate measures!

Apart from that, I fancied a little nose around the stores myself, and considering the fact that I now have the luxury to go shopping when most people are stuck in the office, a deal had been made.

We met at Oxford Circus around lunchtime, and off we went.

Funnily enough, I don't seem to be able to cope with the stresses and strains of both the Underground and random young whippersnappers in tracksuits bumping into me on Oxford Street every five seconds anymore.

In addition, I ALWAYS thought that the combination of tracksuits and "Make Poverty History" wristbands had to be the most cruel twist of fashion of all times - after all, who wants to look like a random PE teacher who has forgotten something in the locker of their local swimming pool ???

The world is turning into a strange place.

Over are the times where people stole other people's business ideas,quotes, articles and poems.There now is a new sport  out there- stealing people's Emails !

I was totally gob-smacked when I recently posted an Email on a forum, only to find out a few hours later that someone else had copied and pasted nearly all of my Email ( they DID bother to change the name to their name though) and posted it on the very same forum - again !!

After my initial reaction, which was a mixture of anger, shock, amusement and disbelief, I thought about the whole scenario a bit more and started to become fascinated....

Being the person I am, I then started to ask myself some interesting questions:

What on earth was going on here ?

Could I make money out of this? Could I become the fairy of words, the queen of letters, the worlds' secretary, employed by Stupidity Incorporated ?

Or had I , who had merely posted a simple ad, unknowingly created a masterpiece of 21st century literature?

Even better, had I suddenly become so cool that people wanted to copy my every word ?

Hmmm.......I don't think so.....
